These terms are a contract between you (the merchant installing the app, "you") and Webnday Pvt. Ltd, the company behind Store Shift ("Store Shift", "we"). By installing or using Store Shift you accept them. If you do not accept them, uninstall the app.

1. The service
Store Shift is a Shopify application that copies store data — products, categories, customers and orders — from a WooCommerce store you control into a Shopify store you control. It is a one-way copying tool. It does not keep the two stores in sync, does not migrate themes, apps, page content, discount codes, reviews or passwords, and does not modify or delete anything in your WooCommerce store.
2. Your account and eligibility
- You must have an active Shopify store and the authority to install apps on it.
- You must own, or be authorised to access, the WooCommerce store you connect.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by your staff.
- You must be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction.
3. Your responsibilities
Store Shift only works if certain things are true, and those things are yours to provide:
- Working credentials. Valid WooCommerce REST API keys with read access.
- A reachable source store. Your WooCommerce REST API must be accessible from the internet over HTTPS. Stores behind firewalls, password protection, IP allowlists, aggressive bot protection or maintenance mode cannot be read.
- Backups. You are responsible for backing up both stores before migrating. We strongly recommend you take a backup of your Shopify store before any large run.
- Verification. You are responsible for checking the migrated data before you rely on it or go live.
- Your own legal compliance. You are responsible for having the right to transfer the personal data of your customers between platforms, and for meeting your own obligations to them.
4. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use Store Shift to copy data from a store you do not own or are not authorised to access.
- Migrate content that is illegal, infringing, or that you have no right to transfer.
- Attempt to circumvent plan limits, billing, or access another merchant's data.
- Reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or white-label the service without our written permission.
- Deliberately overload the service, or use it to attack a third-party system.
We may suspend accounts that breach this section without notice.
5. Plans, billing and limits
- Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Shopify and appear on your Shopify invoice. We never handle your card details.
- Each plan has limits on how many products, customers and orders may be migrated. Limits are shown in the app before you start a migration, and the app tells you when your data exceeds them.
- A free plan is available so you can confirm the app works with your store before paying.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Plans page; access continues to the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Changes never apply to a period you have already paid for.
6. Your data
You keep ownership of everything you migrate. We process it only to run the migrations you request, we never sell or share it, and we delete it when you uninstall. See the Privacy Policy for the detail. You grant us only the limited licence needed to read, transform and write that data for the purpose of the migration.
7. Availability and support
We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, upstream outages at Shopify or WooCommerce, and rate limiting can all delay or interrupt a migration. Support is provided by email and through the in-app Support page during normal business days; response times differ by plan and are targets, not guarantees.
8. Third-party platforms
Store Shift depends on Shopify's and WooCommerce's APIs, which are outside our control and can change, break, throttle or reject data at any time. We are not responsible for their behaviour, their downtime, or data they refuse to accept. Store Shift is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Shopify Inc. or Automattic Inc.
9. Intellectual property
Store Shift, its name, logo, interface, documentation and underlying software remain our property. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the app while your account is in good standing — nothing more.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that every record will migrate, that migrated data will be complete or error-free, or that the service will meet your requirements. Data quality in the source store determines much of the outcome, and we cannot control it.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost sales, lost data, or business interruption, even if we were advised such damage was possible.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you actually paid us in the three (3) months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim. Where you are on a free plan, our aggregate liability is limited to USD 50.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages and costs arising from your use of the service in breach of these terms, from data you had no right to migrate, or from your failure to meet your own obligations to your customers.
13. Suspension and termination
- You may stop at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin.
- We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if payment fails, or if your use threatens the stability or security of the service.
- On termination your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. Migrations already written into your Shopify store are unaffected — they are yours.
14. Changes to the service and these terms
We may change or discontinue features. We may update these terms; the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and material changes will be announced in the app before taking effect. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Webnday Pvt. Ltd is registered, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without regard to conflict of law rules. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory laws in your country of residence.
